SendFix is a job desk for repair and renovation contractors. This page explains what information SendFix collects and how it is used when you message the SendFix WhatsApp number, use the customer portal or the Job Desk, or write to us through this site.
What we collect
- Your WhatsApp number and name, and the messages, photos and files you send to the SendFix number.
- Job details: addresses, descriptions, quotes, approvals, payments and invoices.
- Your email address, when you sign in to the portal or the Job Desk. If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google, and nothing else.
- What you type in the contact form on this site: your name, your email address and, if you add them, your company, phone number and message.
How we use it
We use it to run the jobs: to pass messages between Customers, the Admin, Staff and Workers, to send quotes, invoices and payment reminders, to sign you in, and to answer the people who write to us. To understand free-form messages, the text of a message and the addresses of open jobs may be sent to an AI model, which only chooses what to do next. People confirm anything that matters, such as sending a quote or marking a job done.
Who can see it
Only the business that runs the SendFix account and the people it adds. A Customer sees only the jobs of their own team. A Worker sees the job details they need and never the prices. The Admin and Staff see the jobs they manage.
Who we share it with
We use these services to run SendFix, and they handle information on our behalf: Meta (WhatsApp Business), to send and receive messages; Clerk, to sign you in; Resend, to send email; DigitalOcean, to host the service, store files and run the AI model; and Google, only if you choose to sign in with it. We do not sell personal information.
Keeping records
Messages, photos and job history are kept as a tamper-evident record of each job, so they are not edited or deleted. If you ask us to stop writing to you, we stop writing to your number; the record of past jobs stays.
Security
People sign in with an emailed code or with Google, access depends on the role the Admin gave them, and files are kept in private storage. No system is perfectly secure, but we limit who can see what and we keep a record of changes.
